NIRV aims to provide digital solutions to individuals with neurological disorders by taking an interdisciplinary approach utilizing the fields of mathematics, computer science, and communication studies.
Our ultimate goal is to create a digital community that provides services and information for neurodivergent individuals.

Tallia
Mental Health has always been important; however, the need for social distancing due to COVID-19 has accentuated psychological distress amongst many. While there are many mental health trackers out there, Tallia attempts to take a unique approach by creating a special tracker for those on the autism spectrum. The intuitive tool informs guardians about their child's mental health and encourages second and third-order questions to build communication skills, rather than surface-level yesses or nos.
Aside from its application at home, we're working on modifying Tallia as a tool for teachers. With the emergence of virtual school, both physical interactions and one-on-one time between teachers and students have decreased. To promote more time-effective communication, Tallia would allow teachers of neurodivergent students to have a quick snapshot into the mental health of each student, so teachers can focus their time on asking second and third-order questions that build communication skills rather than wasting time on simple questions.
